Practical Workshop on Decorative Finishes in Istanbul

A two-day hands-on workshop led by Evgeny Sultanov, “Marble Effect Using the Stone Slice Technique,” will take place on November 13–14, 2026, in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Participants will learn how to create decorative finishes that imitate natural marble, featuring deep veins and a mirror-like shine.

Workshop Programme:

• Day 1: Composition fundamentals, colour and material selection, surface preparation, and creating marble patterns and veins.
• Day 2: Sanding, protective coatings, working with varnishes and waxes, and polishing to achieve a mirror-like finish.

The workshop combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice under the guidance of Evgeny Sultanov. All materials and tools will be provided by the organisers.

The workshop is suitable both for experienced decorative finishing specialists looking to enhance their skills and for beginners.
