Project Showcase: Oxidized Concrete Effect
Design Concept
This project focuses on creating a highly realistic and sophisticated imitation of an aged, oxidized concrete surface. It blends raw industrial aesthetics with premium decorative artistry to produce a complex, multi-dimensional finish.
Materials Applied
To achieve this intricate, layered effect, a specific combination of "Krasiki Briz" finishes was utilized:
- Decorative Plasters (Base & Texture):
- "White Clay" (Белая Глина): Provides a foundational, organic, and earthy texture.
- "Tuff" (Туф): Adds a porous, rugged relief that enhances the illusion of weathered, natural stone or aged concrete.
- Decorative Paints (Color & Patina):
- "Zheval" (Жевуаль): A specialized decorative paint applied to build specific color depth and textural nuance within the oxidation effect.
- "Suede" (Замша): Introduces a soft, velvety tactile contrast, softening the harshness of the industrial base layers.
- "Pearlescent Coal" (Перламутровый Кокс): Delivers a subtle, shimmering metallic undertone (typically in graphite/silver bases) that perfectly mimics the natural patina and light-refracting properties of oxidized metal and aged surfaces.
The Result
The strategic layering of these materials transcends standard concrete imitation. It results in a masterfully crafted surface that offers authentic industrial character, rich tactile depth, and a premium, high-end decorative appeal suitable for modern lofts, commercial spaces, or bold residential interiors.
