Siloxane Glazing Compound WD-AC-610
Transparent Protective & Decorative Finish Based on Siloxane Resins | Kraski Breez
Purpose & Key Features
Siloxane Glazing Compound WD-AC-610 is a modern, high-performance transparent topcoat formulated with advanced siloxane polymers. Designed for both interior and exterior use, it provides long-term protection while enhancing the natural beauty of textured decorative surfaces.
It creates a matte, silky-smooth film with a Soft-Feel effect—tactilely refined and visually restrained—without masking the underlying texture or color. Fully transparent in its base form, it deepens and unifies the appearance of the substrate while remaining invisible as a coating.
Unlike conventional acrylics, siloxane-based systems chemically bond with mineral surfaces, ensuring permanent adhesion, UV stability, and weather resistance—without peeling, yellowing, or loss of breathability.
Performance Characteristics
- Wear-resistant – withstands abrasion and moderate mechanical stress
- Eco-friendly – solvent-free and safe for sensitive environments
- Vapour-permeable – “breathable” film prevents moisture trapping and substrate damage
- Water-repellent – enhances moisture resistance and provides beading effect
- Odour-neutral – does not absorb or retain smells
- UV-stable – remains crystal clear; no yellowing or clouding in sunlight
- Low dirt retention – stays cleaner longer
- Easy to maintain – compatible with damp cleaning after curing
Applications
Ideal as a final finish for:
- Venetian and structural plasters
- Microconcretes and microcements (“Fine Stone,” “White Clay,” etc.)
- Tinted mineral renders
- Textured and pearlescent paints
- Any porous, relief-rich decorative surface
Approved for use in:
- Residential and children’s rooms

Surface Requirements
Apply only to fully cured, clean, dry, and dust-free decorative coatings.
The surface must be:
- Uniform
- Free of grease, dust, and loose particles
- Mechanically sound (non-crumbling)
Preparation (if needed):
- Lightly sand to remove dust or imperfections
- Thoroughly vacuum or brush off debris
- Ensure no residual oils or release agents are present
Coverage & Application
- Consumption: 0.05–0.10 kg/m²
Depends on:- Surface porosity and relief
- Application method (roller, brush, or spray)
- Application:
- Apply 1–2 thin, even coats
- Avoid thick layers to prevent runs or uneven sheen
- Allow proper drying between coats
Maintenance
After full curing (24–48 hours):
- Clean with a soft cloth or sponge and neutral pH household cleaners
Avoid:
- Acidic cleaners (e.g., vinegar, citric acid)
- Alkaline or caustic agents (e.g., bleach, ammonia)
- Abrasive or aggressive detergents
These may compromise the siloxane film or cause discoloration.
Shelf Life
12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in the original, tightly sealed container in a dry place at +5°C to +25°C.
Design Value
