Hydrophobizing Varnish WD-AC-610 (Matte)
A premium, water-based transparent topcoat by Kraski Breez, specially developed to protect and enhance textured decorative surfaces while preserving their natural appearance and tactile character.
Formulated with pure acrylic, silicone dispersion, latex, wax, and a matting additive, this varnish delivers deep hydrophobization, durability, and a refined matte finish that accentuates depth without shine.
Primary Applications
Apply as a final protective layer over:
- Microconcrete & microcement (walls, façades, countertops, floors)
- Venetian and structural plasters
- All decorative paints and coatings from the Kraski Breez range
Available in matte (this product) and gloss (separate SKU) variants.

Substrate Requirements
Apply only on fully cured, dry decorative finishes applied over:
• Concrete
• Concrete blocks
• Brick masonry
• Cement & cement plaster
• Gypsum
• Gypsum board & plasterboard
Surface must be:
• Uniform
• Smooth and leveled
• Dry
• Free of dust, grease, and loose particles
Preparation:
- Remove flaking layers
- Repair defects with appropriate fillers
- Sand smooth and thoroughly dust (brush or vacuum)
Note: For floors, light sanding before varnishing improves adhesion and finish uniformity.
Application & Consumption
- Consumption: 0.05–0.15 kg/m² per layer
(Higher on textured or porous surfaces; up to 0.15 kg/m² for floors) - Recommended: 1–2 layers for optimal protection and aesthetic refinement
- Apply with roller, brush, or spray; polish after drying if desired
Maintenance
- Wet cleaning permitted after full curing with neutral pH detergents
- Avoid:
• Acidic or alkaline cleaners
• Abrasive pads or scouring powders
• Aggressive solvents
These may cloud the film, cause spotting, or compromise hydrophobic properties.
