Project Scope & Scale
"Krasiki Briz" successfully executed the decorative finishing for one of the largest and most ambitious dining establishments in Rostov-on-Don: the Portland Restaurant. This massive venue is a true entertainment complex, featuring 13 distinct thematic zones, including:
- A majestic Knight’s Hall
- A vibrant Karaoke Lounge
- A spectacular area designed to resemble an antique ship
- Several exclusive, private banquet halls
Materials & Techniques Applied
To bring the architect's diverse stylistic visions to life across these varied zones, a curated selection of specialized finishes was utilized to create highly stylized, immersive effects:
- "White Clay" Decorative Plaster: Applied to deliver organic, earthy textures and a natural aesthetic.
- "Travertine" Decorative Plaster: Used to emulate the refined elegance and subtle relief of natural stone.
- "Saman" (Adobe-Style) Plaster: Added rustic, historical character to specific thematic areas.
- "Catalana" Corrosion System: A proprietary metallic paint patination system developed by "Krasiki Briz," utilized to create authentic, aged-metal and artistic rust effects.
The Result
The masterful application of these diverse decorative plasters and specialized corrosion systems allowed for the seamless realization of complex, custom-designed effects. This perfectly captured the unique atmosphere of each thematic zone, transforming the Portland Restaurant into a visually stunning and highly immersive hospitality venue.
