Decorative Plaster “Art Beton Light”

Featuring medium viscosity, an extended working time (thanks to special additives), easy application, simple tinting, and the ability to perform localized repairs, it’s ideal for both residential and commercial interiors.
Perfect for finishing walls, columns, ceilings, furniture, and architectural elements where the raw elegance of concrete is desired—without the weight or complexity of traditional systems.
Grain Options
- “Fine Stone” (WD-AC-564)
Particle size up to 0.8 mm – delivers a distinct yet refined concrete texture with noticeable depth and character. - “Fine Sand” (WD-AC-563)
Particle size up to 200 microns – creates a smoother, softer surface, closely resembling polished concrete.
Both variants belong to the unified “Art Beton Light” system, allowing flexible texture selection tailored to your project’s design intent.

Substrate Requirements
Apply to properly prepared mineral surfaces, including:
- Concrete
- Concrete blocks
- Brick masonry
- Cement render and plasters
- Gypsum
- Gypsum board and gypsum panels
Substrate must be:
- Uniform
- Smooth and leveled
- Dry
- Clean and dust-free
Surface preparation:
- Remove loose, flaking, or weak layers
- Repair cracks and defects with plaster or spackling compound
- Sand filled areas with fine-grit sandpaper
- Thoroughly dust with a soft brush or vacuum
Preparation standard: Category Q2 (DIN 18364)
Recommended Application System & Consumption
- Universal Deep-Penetration Primer (WD-AC-007)
- Purpose: Consolidation, dust-proofing, adhesion enhancement
- Coverage: 0.1–0.2 kg/m² on smooth surfaces
- Application: 1 coat
- Quartz Adhesion Primer (WD-AC-558)
- Purpose: Creates a textured, high-bond surface
- Coverage: 0.15–0.3 kg/m² on smooth surfaces
- “Art Beton Light” Decorative Plaster (choose “Fine Stone” or “Fine Sand”)
- Coverage: 0.6–1.2 kg/m², depending on application technique, layer thickness, and desired relief
- Application: 1–2 layers recommended for uniform texture and color depth
Maintenance
After full drying and polymerization (24–48 hours), the surface may be cleaned with a damp cloth and standard household cleaners.
Avoid:
- Acidic cleaners
- Caustic (alkaline) agents
- Aggressive or abrasive detergents
These may cause staining or damage the plaster’s structure.
Shelf Life
12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in the original, tightly sealed container in a dry place at +5°C to +25°C.
