Decorative Plaster “White Clay” – Fine-Grained Stone and Kaolinite Imitation

“White Clay” is a ready-to-use, high-strength, water-acrylic structural plaster engineered to replicate the soft, mineral-rich textures of natural stone—including fine-grained sandstone, kaolinite, and light limestone. Despite its name, it is not a clay-based product, but a polymer-modified, mineral-filled plaster with exceptional plasticity, density, and crack resistance, even in multi-layer applications.

Its paste-like consistency and micronized marble filler ensure excellent workability, allowing artisans to create uniform, tactile surfaces that feel organic and look authentically geological—never artificial.

Suitable for both hand troweling and machine spraying, it’s ideal for projects of any scale, from boutique interiors to large architectural façades.

Substrate Requirements

Apply to properly prepared mineral surfaces:

• Concrete | Concrete blocks
• Brick masonry
• Cement render & plasters
• Gypsum | Gypsum board | Gypsum panels

Surface must be:

• Uniform
• Smooth and leveled
• Dry
• Clean and dust-free

Preparation steps:

1. Remove loose or weak layers
2. Fill cracks with plaster or spackling compound
3. Sand with fine-grit paper (P180–P220)
4. Dust thoroughly with soft brush or vacuum

Required surface quality: Category Q2 (DIN 18364)

1. Universal Deep-Penetration Primer – WD-AC-007
   
   • Purpose: Consolidation, dust-proofing, adhesion
   • Coverage: 0.1–0.2 kg/m²
   • Layers: 1
2. Quartz Adhesion Primer – WD-AC-558
   
   • Purpose: Creates micro-rough bonding layer
   • Coverage: 0.15–0.3 kg/m²
3. “White Clay” Decorative Plaster – WD-AC-562
   
   • Coverage: 0.5–1.5 kg/m²
     Depending on:
     • Layer thickness
     • Desired relief intensity
     • Application method (manual or mechanical)
   • Layers: 1–2 (second layer enhances depth and texture uniformity)

💡 For exterior or high-moisture areas, finish with Hydrophobizing Varnish WD-AC-610 to boost durability and water repellency.

Maintenance

After full curing (48–72 hours):

• Clean with damp cloth and standard household cleaners

Avoid:

• Acidic or alkaline cleaners
• Abrasive scrubbers
• Aggressive solvents

These may stain or degrade the plaster’s mineral surface.

Shelf Life

12 months from production date when stored in original, tightly sealed packaging at +5°C to +25°C in a dry environment.
