Universal Acrylic Deep-Penetration Primer WD-AC-007
The Invisible Foundation for Durable, Flawless Finishes | Kraski Breez
Purpose & Key Features
Primer WD-AC-007 is a low-viscosity, water-based acrylic impregnation engineered for the deep strengthening and reliable preparation of porous mineral substrates before applying decorative or finishing materials.
Unlike film-forming primers, it penetrates deep into the capillary structure of the base—binding loose particles from within, stabilizing dusty or crumbling surfaces, and transforming weak substrates into solid, cohesive foundations.
Its balanced polymer formulation equalizes absorbency, prevents uneven drying, and ensures optimal adhesion for all subsequent layers—plasters, paints, spackling compounds, tile adhesives, and more.
Key Characteristics
- High penetration depth – reinforces even highly friable substrates
- Reduces and equalizes absorbency – prevents rapid moisture loss from coatings, avoiding cracks and poor film formation
- Strengthens and stabilizes – turns powdery, flaking surfaces into durable bases
- Enhances adhesion – bonds securely with water-dispersion and mineral systems
- Eco-friendly – solvent-free, safe for indoor use
- Odour-neutral – does not absorb or retain smells; ideal for sensitive environments
Applications
Recommended for priming interior and exterior mineral surfaces prior to:
- Decorative plasters and paints
- Spackling and levelling compounds
- Ceramic tile installation
- Self-levelling floors and screeds
Compatible substrates:
- Aerated and foam concrete
- Silicate and ceramic brick
- Clinker and slag blocks
- Concrete
- Cement- and gypsum-based screeds
- Cement and gypsum plasters
Approved for use in:
- Residential and children’s rooms
- Hospitals, schools, and clinics
- Administrative and public buildings
- Restaurants and communal areas
Technical Data
- Consumption: 0.1–0.2 kg/m² (varies with substrate porosity)
- Drying time (at +20°C, 65% RH):
- Tack-free: ~2 hours
- Fully dry: 24 hours
- Full polymerization: 28 days
- Shelf life: 12 months in original, sealed packaging
Application Guidelines
- Surface must be: clean, dry, sound, and free of dust, grease, and loose material.
- Apply evenly with a roller, brush, or spray equipment—1 layer is usually sufficient.
- For highly porous or weak substrates, a second coat may be applied after the first has dried.
- Proceed with next step no sooner than 24 hours under standard drying conditions.
💡 Tip: WD-AC-007 does not form a film—it works inside the substrate. A properly treated surface will look unchanged but perform dramatically better.
Why It Matters
Primer WD-AC-007 is the unsung hero of professional finishing. It doesn’t just improve adhesion—it transforms structural weakness into long-term stability, ensuring that every decorative or functional layer applied afterward adheres properly, cures evenly, and lasts for years.
