Unlike water-based analogues, the epoxy matrix is waterproof, vapor-tight, and highly resistant to abrasion, making it ideal for horizontal surfaces, furniture, and high-touch art installations.
System Composition

Application & Curing Process
- Mix Components A and B immediately before use (follow manufacturer’s ratio).
- Apply by brush, trowel, or pour—depending on desired effect.
- Working window: ~45–90 min at 20°C (adjustable with temperature).
- Curing stages:
- Tacky phase (1–6 hrs): ideal for texture modeling or additional metal dusting
- Solid phase (~24 hrs): surface hardens
- Full cure: 72 hours (chemical resistance fully developed)
For patina effects: apply “Catalana” activators after 24–48 hrs, while epoxy is cured but metal remains reactive.
Maintenance
After full cure (72 hrs):
- Clean with damp cloth and neutral detergents
Strictly avoid:
- Acidic cleaners (vinegar, citric acid)
- Alkaline or caustic agents (bleach, oven cleaners)
- Abrasive pads or solvents
These may trigger uncontrolled corrosion, cloud the epoxy, or etch the surface.
⚠️ If patina is NOT desired: avoid moisture and chemicals during the first 72 hours. Consider a clear protective overcoat (e.g., UV-stable epoxy or polyurethane) for high-exposure areas.
Environmental & Safety Notes
- Do not dispose of liquid waste in drains, soil, or waterways.
- Cured material: inert—dispose as regular solid waste.
- Uncured resin: chemically active—handle with gloves, store sealed, and dispose per local hazardous waste regulations.
- Empty containers: rinse and discard as household waste (check local rules).
Shelf Life
12 months from production date when stored in original, sealed packaging at +5°C to +25°C in a dry, dark place.
